What is my home worth?
Zillow can guess. I'll tell you. Fill this in and I'll reply personally, usually the same day.
Please remember, Zillow isn't accurate. It's a good general idea, but it has never been inside your house. It doesn't know what your kitchen looks like or how old your roof and systems are, and those are the things that move the number. Don't price your biggest asset on an algorithm. Ask a professional.
Questions I get asked
How do you figure out what my home is worth?
Recent sales of similar homes nearby, adjusted for condition, updates and lot. Then I look at what's on the market competing with you. It's a judgment, not a formula, and I'll show you the comps I used.
Is this a real appraisal?
No. It's a broker's opinion of value, which is what you need to set a list price. A lender orders an appraisal later, once you're under contract.
Is there a cost or obligation?
No. You get a number and my reasoning. What you do with it is up to you.
Why is Zillow's estimate different from yours?
Zillow hasn't been inside your house. It's a fine general idea, but it doesn't know what your kitchen looks like or how old your roof and systems are, so it can be off by a lot, in either direction, on any one home.
How fast will I hear back?
Usually the same day, sometimes the next morning if it comes in late. I reply myself.
